BASEline: liveset to go

Finally, after some Ableton-related difficulties, my liveset from the BASEline party two weeks ago is online over at soundcloud.com. Enjoy and share! There is also a nice video to go with it. I enjoyed Basel very much. Awesome location and really nice people over there. Looking forward to come back soon!

Baseline @ Ex-Satisfactory, Basel

Just a couple of days before this beautiful place will be gone forever: three weekends of fine music in the Ex-Satisfactory in Basel. I will be playing together with Sarna, Josh Tree and Knut. Really looking forward to that!

Inteam live set now on Soundcloud

My liveset from the last inteam.sunday is online. Go to soundcloud to download or listen here:

Grundton Festival, Hive

In two weeks I will be playing at the Grundton Festival in Hive. Don’t miss it, there are a lot of great acts!

Playing at inteam.sunday

On November 14th This Sunday I will be playing at inteam.sunday, the great afterhour party at Hive, together with Wandler, Jestics and Ezekiel.

Script kiddies

As you might have noticed, the page of my show on audioasyl.net has been hacked by somebody called Alabdli. She put a picture of herself on the page. I enjoy it very much, but I would rather have my old page back (should be back soon) (it is back already). Any of you know what the Arabic actually means? The internet is a dangerous place.

Playing at X TRA TEC

While Sven Väth will be rocking the crowd downstairs in Palais X-TRA, I will be playing a live set upstairs in the bar at the exclusive X TRA TEC together with KW32, Lukas Kleesattel and Snur. You need to register in advance, so please do. My friend Jestics is also playing on the second floor of the main event, so don’t miss it.

Back on track

The last two weeks I spent without music, cycling from Bilbao to Avignon. Very nice. Now it’s time to think about music again. I just found this interview with Karlheinz Stockhausen (via Waveformless) where Karlheinz is obviously dissatisfied with the music he was made to hear from Aphex Twin, Richie Hawtin, Scanner, and Daniel Pemberton. It reminds me of a quote from Thomas Meinecke which I found some time ago in the Swiss Tagesanzeiger Magazin:

Essentially, Meinecke says that his first 80 hours of listening to Detroit Techno were rather unpleasant and that you start appreciating it only after that. Maybe Karlheinz should have listened some more. I will now.

Audioasyl once again

This one was a blow! Two hours and no stopping. I really like this set, enjoy it on soundcloud and leave your feedback!
